Is the force still with George Lucas or has he gone too far?
With the news that the Star Wars creator has been “tweaking” scenes from the original movies for their upcoming first-time release on Blu-ray this month. Sure, Lucas has re-released the movies many times with special editions that show minor frame by frame changes only of interest to die-hard fans.
However, one scene in particular has sparked anger in the online Star Wars community. As Badass Digest reports, the climactic scene where Darth Vader sacrifices himself to save his son Luke from electrocution in Return of the Jedi has new audio added — namely, Vader calling out “Noooooooo!” instead of staying silent.
